Rims?

Sorry, this may sound a little stupid, but i wanted to know what are the biggest rims anyone has put on a type s so far. did you have to modify anything on the car? i think i'm going to have to shave a little bit on the inside of my fenderwell to get my rims to tuck..i've got 19X8s all around with diffrent offsets for the front and the back. i think the front is 38 and the back is 45? or the other way around. i put my rims on a while ago and i don't remember what they decided to do for me...BTW anyone have any dope deals on cross drilled rotors? i'm in west LA (cali) and i also wanted to know if anyone else on here is from around here. hit me up if you are so we can get 2gether for a meet?

it's probably 45s for the front, and the 38s for the rear. question...don't the rear wheels stick out of the well with that offset?!?!?! you know you are asking for trouble because none of the wheels can be rotated since most 19" tires are directional.

but i do believe 19x8s have been the biggest anyone has put on.

Wider that 8" in pushing it in any height.

The offset can vary depending on wheel width.

Common widths and offsets (and the offsets should be the same for front and back):

17 x 7" (Stock) +55 offset
17 x 7.5" +52 - (around 42) (I think the 52 is better)

17 x 8" +48 - +42 (This gets to be a bit of a balancing act depending on the rubber that goes on [225 or 235])

(Just my opinions -- ok)

BTW -- the lower the offset, the more the wheels stick out...
