Do you guy's think a 17x8 with a 45 offset and 235/45/17 will fit our cars without rubbing. Also if I lower the car do you think it will rub?

I think that might be a little too wide, I'm almost 100% sure that a 225/45 will fit on a 17" wheel if the offset is at least 45.

One choice would be to stick to the stock wheel and get either a 225/45 or a 235/45 since the stock offset is 55+.

You can also go to an 18" wheel with a 225/40 and it should be ok even if the car is lowered. See the COMPTECH site, they have a picture of an 18" BBS wheel with a 225/40 tire. Hope this helps.

Rim size... That's a little personal but I don't play butt darts so my rim is pretty normal sized I would think.
