My friend got stopped and got a ticket for speeding and his exhaust. I cop asked him to rev his motor to hear his exhaust and said anything louder than stock is illegal. I'm planning to get HKS dragers soon and my friend's exhaust isn't loud at all....if I was to get pulled over can I refuse to rev my motor?

 

isnt there a new rule out that you can go get it tested at an approved shop, for dB readings.

Kinda like a fix it ticket.

Something like that, and you keep that proof in your glove compartment.

to nvpscore: your right I read in like July Sport Compact Car(which is basically a ricer magazine) They said if you put on a performance pipe your best bet to do is take it to one of these shops and get it tested than get pulled over and get pissed at the cop and maybe have to take it off. plus if you show them the ticket saying your under so many DB it kind of makes him look stupid :P
