I just bought my 01 cl type s a week ago and found out that my right headlight was out. I thought it was just the bulb because my fuse did not blow. after taking it back to the small dealer they sent it to a shop and found out the power is out. What does that mean and what do I need to do to replace it. They told me they have to take my whole bumper off and replace the whole harness. Is that true because I really dont trust this auto shop. Please help anyone

 

Do a headlight search. The search button on the top left of this page is your best friend. You'll probably find your inverter (like a balast)(sp?) is bad. Mine went bad along with a whole bunch of other's on here.

Oh, BTW: I don't know how many miles your car has but I got Acura to "Goodwill" mine outside of warranty. My only problem is now the headlight has been fogging up ever since.

thanks, for the info. I bought my 01 for 15900 with about 54,000 miles on it. I checked carfax and everything came up clean on the car. It was a lease acura in new mexico that wound up in california.
