Rev limiter how bad is it for the car?

I was racing yesterday and I hit my rev limiter a couple of time. How bad is it to hit it?

I wouldnt worry too much about it...thats what its there for. Its obviously not good to sit there and bounce off it for a long time, but you should be ok.

It's healthy for the engine j/k Thats what its there for - to keep you from revving to 10,000 RPM and blowing your motor.

not to beat a dead horse, but yes, that's what it's there for. Your valves are good many RPMs past the rev limiter.
