today i drop my baby off at the exhaust shop that does my work. told them i wanna removed the resonator and put a straight pipe there. it sounds nice and got a deep tone(love the sound). the only problem that piss me off is that i hear a high pitch/sprutter sound. cant really explain it but it get anoying if u cruise and hear that fckin sound. HOPEFULY THE SOUND WILL GO AWAY SOON ! i was thinkin that it was a new pipe that got weld on and need to break in or something iono. i will try to post a video 2morrow or the weekend wen i got free time.

 

DUDE THATS CRAZY!! I cut mine off yesterday as well... I know the sound, it sounds like water in the exhaust, kind of like its gargling (only when you nail the throttle) right?

swolecl - yea i can hear the sound wen im cruisin too and it annoying. it piss me off everytime i hear. yess i ant the only one that hear that god damn sound lol !! how much they charge u?? cuz i paid $35 for it and it not bad at all. if u ever get the sound to go away let me kno and i do the same

victorvu - the peddle feel a lil harder and u proberly gain a little hp. beside that fckin sound i like the deep tone on our cars. now i just gotta save up for headers and a crank pulley.

 

There's not going to be anything for performance. The stock exhaust is already free flowing enough.

 

yeah, i didnt see much of a gain, i just wanted more noise... i've got comptech heads and it sounds good... my best friend has a 3rd gen eclipse with hks dragger exhaust and it has that same sound lol.
