reset ECU?

It will figure it out on its own. As to how long it takes -- it depends. My ECU seemed to “accommodate” the Comptech headers and AEM CAI right away. I didn't notice any major gains over then next few days. (Others will disagree -- this is just my experience...)

I'm pretty sure the proper thing to do is to unplug the battery for 30 mins then hook it back up and let the car run for a good 10 minutes and then drive it around a bit. Someone else probably knows the routine better.
Btw, make sure you have the Navi and Radio codes handy.

I did not reset my ECU after I installed my intake.... I should have though,
I really noticed a difference after a couple of days when the ECU had adjusted, much better...
Also, you're supposed to drive the car aggresivley right after you reset the ECU, which you would be doing anyway if it's your first ride after the CAI install.... you're gonna love the sound at high RPM's

AS a possible interesting aside... The folks at SCC disconnected the battery (reset the ECU) on their WRX and the power dropped way down after they did so. It seems that the computer -- at least in the case of the WRX -- enjoyed and rewarded their lead-foot driving behavior...
A comment that I should have included in my "just after header and CAI install" was getting on more than a few on-ramps to WOT the sucker...
I would expect that some "learned" ECU behavior might be better than some "fresh" ECU behavior...
YMMV

From an older thread and "mr tl"
"the proper way to reset the ECU (PCM) is to pull fuse # 13, clock/backup fuse (7.5A) from the passengers fuse box for 10 seconds
you dont have to let it idle at all
OR...you can use the honda diagnostic OBD tool...but i doubt anyone has it"
