Okay, i've heard a lot of anticipation for this "RES" mod. What does RES stand for? What is it? I just need a brief description to satisfy my curiousity! Expected release/price...etc etc. THANKS!!

Well I believe that park ave might be helping him on this part. Then autocarparts.com is going to have exclusive selling rights to the RES.

The RES is being developed and made by Rick Case Acura in Florida. I'm not sure about the exclusivity on acp.com, but they definitely will be selling it......

 

Dont worry. Patience is the key. The Res will be out before the summertime. That is my prediction.

 

and did I forget to mention that, I think this mod had been done before on different car, like the Boxer

 

...i just wanted to set the record staight on one area since you other post on RES is bull was closed...no flames no argueing...just think about it....people will still say its bull that you get 30whp from comptech headers...just like people said it was bull when doug said he made a cl 3.2 engine into a 3.5 liter now there's no doubt of that...so why doubt this product which was installed and dyno'd on a board members car RAdams...at -tl.com....it will come...when now that's the million dollar question????

 

Wait I also think Type S Smokes All dynoed his car with the RES.

Here we go again....

1) Yes its real...

2) Gains vary depending on car and mods .. more mods less gains but youll still see ~10hp/10lbs on a bad day...

3) For $300 thats 1HP/LB@$30 C/T Headers are 1HP@$36 still a good bargain

4) This stuff is not easy to make nor is it cheap in mass... and to have a viable inventory it requires time and money.. so be patient.

5) If you dont want it, dont like it, dont wanna hear about it.. IGNORE the threads naming it and dont troll one of a VERY FEW people supporting aftermarket for this car.


6) Maybe he should post more details and release date info.. but if he cant forecast it accurately and has to keep pushing dates back like I did.. well that would not fare well for Doug... keep the faith .. it costs you nothing..

7) If you build it ... they will come...
