Reputable shop in TORONTO?? anyone know?

K i'm affraid to bring my car ANYWHERE but the dealership cause everyone I got to MY WHOLE LIFE, screws me over in some form or another.

BUT my acura dealership (if you can BELIEVE IT) however they don't install mods at all....

So my begging question is... WHERE CAN I BRING MY CAR and have them do a wicked job. Price is secondary to the quality of work.

DOES ANYONE know, cause w/e I seem to find is always a bad choice.

Where do I take my baby!????

THANKS A MILLION

Only if you promise not to post a new thread for at least half a day....jk...but not really.

Call Joe at Al Tech. They specialize in Hondas/Acuras and Japanese cars in general. They have an N/A CRX there that does like a 10.5 1/4 mile!!!

I got one really good guy in Ottawa he works on my 80 trans am hes, super cheap too so if your up for a drive LOL

I do most of my work any ways because I used to be apprentice but I couldnt get the screws of my calipers because they were siezed and then eventually striped, he took all 8 off for $10 pretty good deal. I just had to get laughed at for 10 minutes

Yea, I'm from Mississauga over here!.. we should get a group meet together on of these days this summer, 1/2 way sorta for all of us and check each-others rides. ?? possibly

I do have a godfather in Ottawa so i MAY be up for the drive lol.

Must meet somewhere rural so we can rip it against each other .

Besides there can't be THAT many of us CLer's around, I'm sure the meet would be small enough that we'd know everyone

We had a meet last year at square 1, and i think we had 9 CL's there! There's quite a large group in the GTA, it's just a matter of getting everyone together.

There's also a meet (used to be the Acura Woodbine Annual Meet), but they closed so Honda is putting it on. June 14th. There's also weekly meets in Mississauga if you're on that other local site.

there are never any meets in ottawa

I have met a couple of guys here that drive CLs most are unmodified and dirty as hell they see mine which has a million scratchs in it and they ask how did you get it so clean( wash and wax) most of the guys that drive them up here are not in to modifing them ( good for me I know I can beat them)

A lot of people in ottawa dont even know what kind of car it is ( shaved decals) I had a guy ask me if it was from Japan

although I was thinking of coming to a meet in TO if my wife lets me thing is I have to cover the from end with tape on the way down LOL

LOL so i went to Altech. i called them 3 times to MAKE SURE that if i drove my ass 40 mins through TORONTO traffic to get there they'd have a bay open for me to slam the pulley on. lo and behold, they didn't. they told me to wait 30 so i waited 37 mins then walked in and asked what's up.. they said 5-10... i said this is rediculous and left.

What ever happened to service? do they want money honestly.

While I was waiting I called around and found NAPA had a pulley kit (to get the damn pulley off by hand) and it's less than $40 with tax. So that added another reason for me to leave. I'll just do it myself when I get my buddys breaker bar.

But really. I wasn't too impressed with Altech. (no offence gnuts)

It's prolly only me that would ever happen to. I get screwed everywhere i spend money on my car accept for my local dealership. funny how that goes

Hey welcome to the GTA CL brotherhood .

I great shop in the GTA and sort of around your location is IPC (Import Performance Center) around Strathearn road, Brampton (dixie/steeles) there number is (905)791-2277.

They only work on Hondas and Acuras and are great, but the downside is they are very busy. The owners name is Ken.

I think Miro(typestylinonu) went there and said they were great.

Hey check out our meets from last year...
