Replaced 02 sensor but code still come up

My 01 CLs Auto was running really poorly on cold starts and and a CO2 misfire code came up. I changed the 02 sensor and that solved the issue.

The problem is the the check engine light comes on as soon as I start the car and the VSA light comes on once I get out on the open road. The CL runs really strong and idles smooth. I have just over 140K on the odometer.

Have any of you come across or heard of this gremlin

Did you reset your ECU after replacing it?
