Anybody here have or knows somebody that has Remus exhaust/muffler on their acura? I know theyre made from bimmers and other high-end euro cars but has anybody heard them? IMHO i think they sound better than the magnaflow mufflers, theyre just a tad bit more expensive. but they seem worth it. i just wasnt sure if its been done.

That car sounds real nice. Buy a set and try them out! Would be interested to see how they sound on the 3.2

 

they sound pretty good. i wouldnt put them on my car though but not that bad. i have never really heard of them either. i would have to actually hear them in person to really make my mind up though. i havent heard of anyone putting them on their cl though

yeah it does, sorry, but do a search on youtube for remus exhaust and take a listen and they all sound sooo hott. it sounded the same as the others, plus i wanted to get a video with an engine as close to ours as possible (3.0) but yeah, im thinking about it. look on ebay tho, the exhausts look kinda ugly, but they sound sweet. i like these better than the magnaflows coz the magnas are more towards the muscle car sounding, plus they have that popping noise, but otherwise they sound fine, i was gonna get those originally, but i wanted to be different.

 

remus is pretty big with the bimmers, but i'm not too sure about all euro.. i would think so.

they do make universal ones, i just dont know if theyre dimensions will fit our cars. i would hope so, coz im hoping on them as soon as my refund comes in. wish me luck!

 

I know there were a few people who had some of those universal remus mufflers on their CL a long time ago. If you search for remus you'll find a few threads about it, though all the image links seem to be dead now.

 

i wanted to use remus as well. my friend had one on his audi and it was really clean. more aggressive and a little deeper than stock and not obnoxiously loud. but that was on an audi and i wasn't sure if it would sound the same on our cars. also, when i was researching sebring is also the same company so you might want to look into those. good luck and keep me posted

I'm sure it'd look good on the stock CL bumber too, though those pics don't really give a very good idea what it would look like since that back end is more reminiscent of an SLK than it is to a CL.

 

you should go over to acura-legend.com. that is their favorite exhaust to run. they have 3.2 v6's too so it would prob sound similar.

Just do the custom turbo muffler 2 of em.. Thats what i have and it really sounds nice..

 

really? whered you get them? how much did they run? how much modification did you have to do to make them fit?

It was done by someone in Japan. There's a shitload of pictures floating around their website that show the car in detail.

it doesnt look like it. looked at their site, found stuff for honda and the accord. i dunno if the the accords will fit on ours. thats why im also hesitant about buying the mufflers, coz i dunno if theyre gonna sound different. if they make it for an accord it should fit ours with modification, coz invidia has a hot catback for the accord and ive seen it on an 03 tl-s, sounds good.

 

Yes, everything else is stock.. Well i dont have a camera but i got the stock muffler tips welded back on and it looks like stock but the sound is not.. They wanted 150 for it with the tax and everything.. And they sound like a R32 excallty sound like it.. Maybe lil bit deeper..
