Removing rear 'A' Badge....

I'll be getting a red Acura badge soon, so I need to know how to remove the old ones. I've heard of people using dental floss, CC, fishing line....anyone know the "best" way to do it? I want to be able to swap the original badge back on if I ever needed to or something....thanks in advance.

Yeah I would just try fishing line or dental floss. Just run it under the sign and pluck it off. Unless CL-S' have special glue underneath, which I doubt, this should get it off.

I haven't tried it (yet) but supposedly just heat it up with a hair dryer and it'll come off with dental floss.

1. Apply WD-40.
2. Wait 10 minutes while it soaks into the sticky stuff under the letters.
3. Use a thin, little, plastic spatula or something similar to slide underneath.
5. Easy!

You're kidding right? I'm not sure I would put that type of solvent on the paint.

Oh, and Iridium, you should use mint flavored floss, its more slippery.

Don't forget there are TWO small "pins" under the center emblem to keep it centered.
You will have to work around them.

Have you actually done it? I know WD40 will disolve a bunch of stuff. Are there holes under it?

The new one should come with some new adhesive on the back of it...

You used the mint flavor right? It works much better than the regular. Honest!

Comic Relief:

It will come off the easiest if you grab your balls, turn your head to the left then cough while pulling the badge off with your right hand.

If that doesn't work wave a dead chicken over the badge and call me in the morning.
