Question Removing Clutch Dampening Device

I just saw a few threads on removing the CDD and wondered how effective of a mod it was on the '03 CL-S 6MT? Because in my IS300 removing the CDD made the clutch finally feel like it SHOULD have felt from the factory.

Anyone done this mod? Anything needed besides the obvious tools?

I'm in the process this weekend of doing this. I ordered a new SS clutch line to run & bypass the CDD.

The necessary info is in the thread in the FAQ.
I may post a DIY, depends on how smooth it goes.
