Remote Radar/Display?

Anyone mount a remote radar or remote display for V-1 or Passport in or under the coin tray in front of the shifter? Does this work well or is it a pain to look at cause it is so far from your line of sight while driving. Any thoughts would be great.

Thanks

Well, it will work fine regardless of where you put it, but like you mentioned... the line of site thing is important. Mine is on the steering wheel column so I can just peek down at it when it goes off. Putting it too far out of site could be dangerous and kind of defeat the purpose of the remote display. On one hand it would be more hidden, but on the other hand you have to take your eye off the road to read it......

Mine's velcroed on the top of the steering column. Down by the shifter is too far out of sight.

Right now I have the display in between the steering column and guage cluster - which is pretty cool, but I was thinking it would look real trick down by the coin tray, but my fear is that it really takes away from the driving being that at high speed the last thing I want to do is take my eyes off the wheel.

You gotta go with something around the instrument cluster/steering column. The last thing you want to do is take your eyes off the road to look down and see what the remote display is showing.

Just figured I would get some opinions. As I said, I have the display tucked between the steering column and gauge cluster which is pretty cool.
