Today I saw a red type s parked in a lot on route 741 just north of route 283. It was a 2003 San Marino Red Type S. Was it anyone here? I wish that I had time to stop and see if it was a 6-speed with parchment interior and non-navi like mine. If it was, I did not think that I would ever see another like mine since there were only 61 made. If anyone here knows who it was, please let me know.

 

When I got mine the dealer(bobby rahal in mechanicsburg) tried to get me to buy the SMR/parchment interior/6spd/ non navi they had on the lot instead of ordering my black one. Maybe you got the car they tried to sell me I would have bought it but I really don't like the parchent interior. Where in PA are you located?

 

My 2k1 cls trans died the other day, getting a new one installed at bobby rahal. 58k miles

I am in New Cumberland also. I probably did buy the car that you looked at. I bought it at Bobby Rahal Acura in may 2003. I like the interior, but it is just a matter of taste. I also had two black vehicles at the time, and was due for a change. My salesman was Herb Haft, he is a very nice guy to deal with, particularly as salesman go, not pushy at all, and seemed like he wanted to find me the car that I really wanted at the right price. All together, buying this car was a good experience. I also received a card in the mail today inviting me to the showing of the new RL.

 

Oh, by the way, three pedals are better than two, especially if the third one is not the parking brake.
