Red CL in San Antonio?

Your car has chrome wheels and a spoiler. It looks sharp. Saw you turning into the Exxon station at Potranco and Culebra this afternoon. I was head toward 410 on Culebra. I'm in a DEP TL-S.

Just wondering if you're on this board.

My younger brother works in San Antonio, lives in Universal City. The first time he ever saw '01 Acura CL was when I drove my down December 00. He says there just aren't any around. Is that true? or is he not looking around hard enough?

I may be going down there for my next assignment (still in FREAKIN KANSAS! )

I'm thinking of taking Amy (the car) this time though rather than flying, and then getting a rental car to and from work and keeping Amy at the hotel or wherever I'm staying. i think i can make the drive from pa in a little over 2 days, don't you?

Sounds about right, arriving sometime on the third day. You're right if you're not from here (Kansas), it would be rather unpleasant to be stuck here for a long time. In any case, San Antonio should be a bit nicer especially for the winter. SA is a big city (pop-wise) but a small town otherwise.

it would be a little more pleasant if i wasn't 2 FREAKIN' hours from a mall (2 hours to Overland park, 2 hours to Joplin, 2 hours from civilization, etc, etc.)

What your bro says might be true for the side of town he lives on. He's on the Northeast, and the only Acura dealership in town is on the Northwest side. So, it would make sense that he doesn't see too many new CL's on his side of town. As far as I'm concerned, I have seen a few. Not a whole lot. I see more first gens than second gens. But there are some. As a matter of fact, I've seen an attractive twenty-something woman in a '01 CL-S a few times close to my house. Haven't had a chance to get acquainted yet though.
