Recommended windshield repair..

Can anyone recommend a windshield repair place in Houston?? My Type S just got infected with a pretty nasty rock chip that I didn't see until it had cracked and current is a little longer than 9 or 10 inches.

I am looking for any suggestions, and if your in the Houston area whom you would recommend.

Should I get this repaired ASAP (is it a safety issue if I don't), or can I wait a couple of days? I'm thinking this may require a windshield replacement.

It'd be best if you got that windshield replaced as soon as you can. With a crack that big, I don't think they can repair it. I've got a crack on mine too right now but it's only about 1/2 an inch long so I'm not worried at all yet. But if that thing ever starts to grow, I'm getting it taken care of right away.

Try Windshield Rescue at; 281-468-3637 or e-mail them at jc@windshieldrepair.cc

I have used this guy more than once. Your insurance will pay for it. The guys name is Jeff Cooper. If necessary they will come to you.

Hope this helps.
