Recommendations for Brake Pads and Brake Lines

Starting to hear a squeal from the brakes, figure it's time to change the pads.

I'm thinking of the StopTech Street Performance Pads, and the StopTech SS Lines to go with them.

Anyone have any other recommendations?

Also, are Centric and StopTech the same thing? They have the same part numbers, but are listed with different prices.

I went from stock to EBC Redstuff pads and Russell lines. I am happy after two track days and about 4000 miles of normal driving.

+1 for Redstuff Pads. Any SS lines should do really: Stoptech, XLR8, etc.

Bed-In for Redstuff Pads takes an eternity if you're not on new rotors. I just did all four corners on my CL and only replaced the rear rotors. The Rear's had made full contact by 750-1000 Miles, the Fronts took 2000 Miles for a full contact stripe. During the bed-in you need to brake as gently as possible and early....as if there was a foot of snow on the road.

I've gotten really good performance and mileage with power stop evolution pads and rotors. I believe like 60K miles

Hawk hps pads are good street pads also. They offer more bite though produce more brake dust.
