Recommend me a tire...

So here's the setup guys:

1) '01 Cl-S
2) Comptech Springs
3) Tokico HP N/A
4) 18 x 8 Volk Gt-P's (+49 offset)
5)...

You fill in #5. I was thinking about going with the Yoko EVS100 or the Dunlop Sport FM901 in 235/40/18. Is this setup going to be too wide for an 8" rim w/ the +49? What do you guys with 8" rims usually use for width? Trying to avoid any rubbing issues if at all possible. Any recommends for the tires besides the ones I listed? Thanks everyone.

Toyo T1-S probably 235s on an 8 inch rim, i have 225-40-18s on a 7.5 inch rim. They stick like glue and you can get them for under $200 per.

I have Goodyear F1 GSD 2's and they are sweet tires. The GSD 3, is wicked.

TOYO PROXIE T1S. I'll never buy another tire in my life.

These tires STICK to the road, and last a long time. I paid $165 each tire, but well worth it

They are pricey but excellent tire.
There is no 235/40/18!

Now, if there was the above fitment, here is my list:
1) Goodyear F1 GSD 3's (no correct size)
2) Bridgeston Potenza RE750 ($158)
3) Yokohama ES100. ($136)
4) The Sumitomo HTRZ II (Specail for $128)

I think I will pick the ES100 for best bang for the buck!

The GSD3 is reviewed here by a CLS owner.
