ive had my system in for about 2 months now (kicker solobaric, ported, about 650 watts rms) and a couple of days ago i got the first rattle, its only at high volume, but annoying none the less, and yes its the rearview mirror, not the sunroof. anyone else have this problem, the mirror itself shakes so much when the bass hits anyway i cant really use it, but still the rattle sucks, it looks like the mirror is slightly unglued from the casing, anybody else fixed this or had problems like it?

LMAO... you know your bass hits too hard when interior trim pieces start falling apart inside the vehicle.

hey when it comes to addin bass to your car, why half ass it when if you look in th right places (i.e. not best buy) you can get ridiculous system for not that much money. Ive had problems like this on other cars ive owned, my old civic had an led light spolier, i snapped all the leds off so it didnt light up anymore. so anyone else got any ideas?

word bro, i have a 1000 watt amp with 2 12's (all pioneer), and I just made my rearview mirror fall off from the bass. no shittin' you. Now I have to get a new one or reinstall the old one. I only say i gotta get a new one cuz the polarization element in the mirror is screwed up.

yo G... my bass hits so hard that all my windows fell out of my car.





The rearview attachment hanger is made out of potmetal (so do not get excited about making it fall off from your BASS) ... even if you bought a new mirror, evently the new mirror will fall off over time since you like going down the road playing your system for everyone else to hear and the potmetal will just keep failing....

Put some silcone on the potmetal, attach the mirror, let dry...

do a search next time.. the question has been answered before.
