i am about to tint all of my windows but before i do i wanted to know if there was a special type of window tint that wont interfere with the antenna in our rear windows. i noticed that when you put on the rear defrost it fucks with your reception and my take from the tint on my last car(audi) is that i will get shitty reception after regular tint is applied. any one experience this already or have any suggestions?

 

I think you may want to look into your first problem before worrying about the tint. The defogger shouldn't affect reception. In my car the defogger doesn't affect reception nor does my tint. Its llumar tint, but I don't think that matters

 

Tint comes in two forms: metallic and non-metallic

You must install the latter on cars with in-window antennas.

 

All tint affects AM reception. FM is also reduced a little but not by much. I noticed a difference before & after I had my cars tinted. Llumar 15%.
