Rear stock speaker problem

i am wondering if i am the only one with a problem like this, or if some people had it also.

I noticed that my rear passanger speaker was cracking/ratlling a little. So went to the dealership, and they replaced it. Now, 5 days later, I get the same thing. And I haven't even turned it up all the way or listened to any hardcore bass or anything. Obviously I will go back and they will most likely replace it again, but it is pretty weird that it is happening like this.

might be the rear top brake light hitting the glass. this sometimes makes the speaker sound blown. try putting something inbetween the glass and that top brake light like a peice of rubber or something. see if that helps.

Interesting...

When my tranny was replaced, I told them to check out a rattle coming form the rear deck. When I returned to pick up my car, they said that the right rear speaker was bad and had to be replaced. It's funny, because I had no idea it was bad...

I also took mine in for dash and rear deck rattles...they didn't fix either of them. And the rear deck rattle, tick, whatever you want to call it is annoying as fawk!

anyone have problems with their windows rattling badly when they are open and you close the door?

Good point. I will have to test it. The first problem was defenetelly a speaker, because the dealership said that it was in fact defective.

The dealer will fix your rear deck vibration too...they fixed mine about a year ago and I just had both rear speakers replaced under warranty, as well. If you want, take it back to them and they will stuff foam in between the deck and the glass....worked like a charm for mine.
