Rear shocks squeaking, anybody else?

This past month I've been hearing squeaking sound from the rear, most likely from the shocks/springs. I got the tokico illuminas - H&R sport set up. I only hear it whenever I go over a bump or slope. Has anybody else ever had this problem with any kind of suspension? Does this mean my rear shocks are busted or they just need lubrication? I got them installed last november.

Yup, mine did it soon after I got my H&R Sports installed. It was the same thing... quiet regularly, but made noise over bumps. Turns out I have a blown strut.

Did you put on aftermarket shocks as well or stick with stock?

i have factory struts, and same thing happened to me. My strut was busted so they fixed that, but the noise was still coming so I was like wtf? I went back to the dealer and they said the suspension needed to be tightened. After they tightened the suspension, I have had no squeaks or whistles. All work was done by acura care warranty btw

I'm seconding the post about checking that everything is tight. When I had my suspension replaced, I did a test drive to make sure that everything was tight. I heard squeeks from the front and in the back. Turns out one front shock was not completely tight and the sway bar was loose on one side in the back. After it was tightened, it was quiet.

My comptech sway bars will squeak on the rear if I don't have them re-lubed with grease or whatever every 6-9 months... I believe it's the polyurethane bushings that squeak...
