Does anyone know of a rear facing infant car seat that fits in the CL? I have one that is almost too large to get through the door. Once it is clipped in the back seat, you cannot return the front seat to a useable position.

Good thing I also have an Explorer...

 

Yes, I have a rear-facing Graco Snugride (Princeton) which has been discontinued, but you should be O.K. with another Snugride model. The front passenger seat only goes half-way back, but it's better than nothing. The seat fits into the Graco infant seat base. That way you can buy a second base and use the seat in your Explorer as well. I use the seatbelt to hold it in ('01 CL doesn't have latch), but it if you have a newer CL then the base works with the latch system also.

 

We used the Evenflo one (the one that clips into a base and a stroller).

It just made it into the back, and the front seat could go back to a decent place.
