REAR DASH

hey ppl,
i got some problems with my rear speakers.. and i have to take out my rear dash.. i tried but i couldnt do it..( I M STUPID)
can anyone tell me how to take it out?

You should be able to access your rear speakers through your trunk no? This is the way my 3.0 is setup...

it s the on the surface of the speaker... well i just have to take out my rear dash... not just for speakers.. rattles.. something else =)

you know why u cant figure it out, its b/c your Asian, hahaha j/k. I have some rattles too.

There's no way of unbolting the speakers from underneath and then taking them off from below? Hmm..sorry..wish I had a cl-s to check for you

You have to remove the back seats to take the back panel off. Your best bet is to bring it to the dealer. Let them do it all rattle concerns are under warranty.

I don't eat doggs. just saw something on the news about it so just wanted to mention it.

Oowindo, if its coming from the brakelight just do a search i posted something awhile back on how to fix it. basically stick some round rubber circles u can get at target and put it between your rear shelf and window or brake light and window.

If I remember correctly. You remove the grills, unbolting them from the trunk, and lifting them out in the cabin. Then you can get at the speakers which are mounted from the top down.

I will email the Helms page for rear seat removal. Like Nova said. Someone else posted a note here about a fix for the rattle. They basically wedged a couple of little pieces in between the window and the deck.

Shit i want to come but my ass will be in Japan for a month. Im going to leave my car at my pops house so someone can watch over my baby while im gone. I will tell him to pimp my ride over to GMU for the meet

rock dog could you please e mail the rear removal to me to and possibly the front as well. I would like to swap out the front and rear speakers my self and that would help a bunch!!!!
