rear break squeeking

i did a search and didnt find any answers so dont flame!!

my rear passenger side has been squeeking for the longest time. i even changed the pads to see if it was the problem. i added that gooey stuff from kragen on the back ot the pads and the squeek is still there. it only starts squeeking from 40 mph and lower when step on the brakes.

has your parking brake been adjusted recently?...

The adjustment on the parking brake maybe set too tight on one side and not the other....

Jack the car up and see if you can spin the wheel freely.. if you can replicate the sound when turning the wheel, then adjust the parking brake with a flat tipped screw driver... Find your helms of do a search on Parking brake adjustment... good luck..

the parking brake has been adjusted before, but from the foot pedal. i'll jack up the car 2m and give your method a try.
