The shitty thing that I didn't expect was the CL's tail light has a "distorted" look to it to help spread the light from two bulbs.
Looks better in person but doesn't have precise led light points like it would if it was clear.
I still like it and love that it's one of a kind.

Looks good man way better than CCFLs LOL
BTW love the CF hood
A little off topic but Did you figure out if the red went all the way through or is it possible to clear the tails
Defintly worth the wait

Thanks for the nice comments.
The red can not be cleared.
It is just red plastic...nothing to do about that.
Pretty bright though and has good color.
And I have it set up so it isn't TOO bright like other LED tail lights I have seen before.
What's kind of interesting is that you always see the LED's straight on.
But as you look up or down it started distorting.
So...kind of cool effect.
The nice thing is that I have it set up to run both of my tails.
So I can switch them back and forth from my 03's to LED tails with the clips I spliced in.

Going to consider applying a VERY light tint to the outside.
Apply some black in the clear and have them re-done now.
Somebody told me I can put some silver in the clear and do that also.
Sounds interesting but I have my doubts.

No...I would take it to a paint shop to mix up some black in the clear coat and re-spray them.
I usually prefer to get stuff professionally done.
I don't have a garage so everything has to be done on the street.
No bueno...

yeah I asked a body shop if they could tint my tails by mixing black with clear and they were like "what , No we dont do that"
So now im f%ck where do I get it done besides do it myself I think im just going to wait until someone wants to sell 03 tail lights with the red tinted (could be awhile)

Corners are also 5mm LED's.
I didn't do the reverse lamp because it doesn't have to be done.
But everything else is LED's.
Like the way it looks now with the 3rd brake light.

I'm going to be meeting up some other Aziners tomorrow for hot wings so I'm going to try to take some more shots.
Think we are also planning on a night shoot.
Hopefully we do and I can get some pics.

Now I'm always going to be on the fence.

Tinted 03's
VS
LED 01's

Both are good looks for my SSM.

If you want it done...you'd have to have another set of tails.
It would be a little pricey because of the level of difficulty.
I have the info.
