So what exactly did you do to fix the rattle?

My car now has 203k miles on it and I can honestly say that it has a very very small amounts of rattles. I would say its as rattle-free as my 08TL.

A couple fixes for rattles.

1.) Pick up some Rubber Foam like this from Home Depot
http://www.lowes.com/pd_96248-1410-R...91_4294937087_

2.) For the dash area by the windshield, take some of the rubber foam and jam it down in between there all the way across the windshield/dash area. I have a black interior so the color blends perfect and isn't at all noticeable.

3.) The seats make a squeaking noise because they rub against the side plastic covers. So take some more of the black rubber foam and place it between the plastic cover and the seats all the way around.

4.) Take more of the foam and go to the back seats and run it all the way around the seats anywhere the seats rub against the plastic panels.

5.) The 3rd brake light has been covered many times, just get in the trunk and shove more of this rubber foam up into the 3rd brake light area and it will completely quiet it down.

Every place I have ever taken my car can't believe how quiet it is for having so many miles. I don't mean quiet quiet because there is a lot of wind noise with the CL and my big side view mirrors.

i always wondered if other ppl have the annoying window rattling. If the windows are up there are no rattles but if u drive with them down it sounds like the glass is moving inside the door. You can notice it alot if you close the doors with the windows down. is this considered normal or did the guy that put on my tint screw something up. I know after i got my windows tinted one of them actually popped out and was sticking an extra 2 plus inches out while driving.

^^^ never heard that sound in my car... that sounds WACK

only heard that sound once on one car... my previous cause i tossed big speakers in the door and the back would hit the window when u close the door if the window was down most of the way. But aside from that, definitely don't have that issue with my car now

Was thinking that, but mine doesn't rattle, too much dampening, my spoiler rattles a bit though since I rattled it loose from bass a few times

My sunroof rattles sometimes, when it does I push up on the glass and it reseats/reseals itself and goes away.

^^ if you never clean the seal around the sunroof then it will likely not squeak. or u can grease it... or baby powder.. there's plenty of fixes
