When i had my snow tires with 40 pounds on and pretty stick springs and -10C weather, there was a rattle hear and there ya.

My 98 sounds like a spray can.

i swear to god... not a single rattle.

when it's cold -5 or more, there are 1 or 2, that quickly go away as soon as i can blast heat.... but 98% of the other time zero

I cant pin-point them all. Nor do I care. Its a 7 year old Honda.

There are tons of them though. Some from the center console, some from the dash, others from the door panels, and one from the rear deck area. It doesnt bother me though. My car is dropped on some stiff coilovers and I have 80A poly-filled mounts, so I expected the rattles.

Well i don't technecally have "rattles" more like a noise here and there coming from a seat rubbing on the plastic trim or a jingling seat belt. Those kind of things...

It really all depends. If you remove panels you're bound to get rattles because the clips are no longer as tight as they were.

Now that I think about it, there is 1 rattle that irratates the hell out of me. Ever since I poly-filled the mounts the grille has been rattling like crazy at idle. It annoys me. The rattles inside the car I can deal with. But when theres a rattle outside the car that other people can hear, thats unacceptable.

Maybe Ill get around to fixing it one of these days

sunroof squeaks cause of the manufacturing defect... if the seal is clean it squeaks and if it's dirty it's quiet as can be... just don't clean it and the squeak goes away... and if there's a rattle, close the sunroof visor and that should dampen it out enough

yea, I only hear it when the cover is open. less road noise when its closed too. Im gonna try to tighten it a little more when the weather warms up.

and I did clean the seal once and it squeaked like crazy. a little baby powder on it and it went away.

My car is very quiet. The only noise I get is the tires on the road or unless I hit a pothole I might hear something rattle. Every time someone new rides in my car they compliment how there is barley any road noise. And if the radio is off I feel like I'm in a library, its kinda relaxing actually.

When I hit a huge bump I get a few due to my springs. Before that not a single one.

Had some squeaks opening and closing the door so I greased the latches and no more squeaks. There is a rattle when the bars under the rear deck touch my sub box if I don't position and secure it just right.

I do have the hum that occurs from removal of the intake resonator, but I don't hear it w/ the windows up or if stereo is on.

Other than that it is very low on extraneous noises, as is my '96 TL. Pretty amazing since I've taken apart the interiors of both cars many, many times doing audio stuff.

Now my old Integra had a loud squeak that I could never fix coming from the dash area. Pretty annoying as I could hear it over the exhaust and CAI even while freeway cruising.

I just identified one from the map light of all things. I'm guessing a screw or clip is missing but am not going to deal with it until I replace it, as one of my buttons are missing! :/

I swear I saw a TSB on fixing that issue, but can't locate it now. I'll try to check AllData later or tomorrow.

^^^ there was is, it's like a thick teflon trip/coating they put where it seals around the roof.

So does that mean i can go to acura and get it fixed for free?

EDIT: I only have 1 rattle. It's from the rear seat rubbing against something and the Acura dealer could hear it but failed to pinpoint it. Any suggestions guys?

Yes that's the one I read. Thought it was kinda a makeshift fix but w/e. I seemed to think not pursuing it because me mileage was too far over. But I'll pull it up later and post if I can find it on AllData.

actually more of a furry sort of tape, like the window seal furry stuff, just smaller and in tape form

free, proably not; never a recall, just a tsb on it, with how to fix it; aka putting the tape on it

I love the sound of comptechs, a little quiet but once you do valve adjustments and a couple of runs of seafoam in the intake, it gets louder.

I have one around my third brake light that is driving me crazy right now. It just started happening too. There are a few posts around with other people having the same issue, but the fix involves removing the rear seat. I have not got to the point (YET!) where it bothers me that much to remove my rear seats

My mom bought the Acura 3.2 CL in 2001 in blue. and I remember her getting the extended tranny warranty. and the i remember she got that shyt fixed. and it was a thick plastic, that was clear.. all one piece 1cm high, and 1-2mm thick. not furry, at least in my case.

My car is Loud at WOT man! and she runs really good. Comptech's will be the icing on the cake... then i MAY get a new cat.. but prolly not worth it after condisering: the added smell and bad emission and what to do with the front gasket. and possible engine code (then you need an o2 fixer) also you may lose low end tq, and it'll be louder/possibly drone .. I want it for the added top end badly, but in my mind there are a lot of sacrifices for that mod. I don't like sacrifices, nor do i like trial and error on exhaust sound. so i'm gonna go for new comptech mufflers

Not to mention it's nice to have clean crisp exhaust

I didn't want to go through the trouble either, but finally had to when I got my rear window tinted and didn't want a 3rd brake cutout... it wasn't that bad. Only the installer was a little mad I made him kneel on some rolled up carpet when he tinted it
