Rattle hunt leads to....oops was that important?

Well, I was trying to track down a rattle in my car. After having my girlfriend drive me around to find the source I narrowed it down to the sun roof area. It isn't the typical squeaky seal(sp?) because I have greased it and it is the new designed sunroof anyway.

Well anyway, I decided to take off the popup screen and see if that was it (and I don't like the way it makes noise on the highway.) In the process of removing the screw on the right side, I complete stripped out the screw and boogered up the right side sunroof track and ended up ripping the screw out. To top it all off, IT WASN"T THE RATTLE.

I filed down the burrs that I created and everything still works fine but I need to get a new sunroof track installed. Anyone have any idea what it will cost me?

At least they can find the darn rattle for me

I had a very annoying rattle in my sunroof area, and I took it to the dealer to find out it was the rubber seal around the sunroof and it just needed to be lubes up. It sounded like someone put a handfull of M&Ms in the roof of the car.
