Hey All,

I get a rattle from my moonroof and was wondering if anyone else with a 3.2CL had this problem. It occured when I first got the car 5 yrs ago, the dealer fixed it under warranty but now it is happening again. Anyone know how to fix?

i had a problem like that in my 03. if i pushed on the front of the glass it would raise slightly and make the same noise. it was replaced under warranty. i believe the said it was some sort or slide bar and that the entire headliner needed to be removed to do it. wish i could be more exact and i hope this helps you with your problem.

Is it really "rattling?" When I got mine fixed 4-5 years ago- they just put a piece of teflon tape around the outside perimeter of the opening to stop the rubbing.

it really is a rattle, if I open the roof slightly, it stops. It is how elliot descrbed it, like a loose rod. I was hoping to be able to fix it myself.

i still have this problem, under warranty rite? it only does it sometimes tho, usually when wind pressure is rattling it.

I have the same thing. But mine seems to come from in front of the moonroof, in the headliner, just above the sunglass holder. Does anybody else have this? When I push up on the headliner it stops 'squeaking.'

welcome to the club! I had a 01cl-s and now have 03cl-s and they both rattle

I have that annoying rattle too. It doesn't make much noise when the sunroof sunshade is closed, but it's really loud when it's pulled open.

It's something Acura has done from the factory to slowly eat away at our brains. Why? I don't really know.

Why don't you just call an Acura dealer and ask? If you don't have an answer in two weeks I'll ask when I take my car in.

Mine rattled in the first 12,000km...they fixed it and it hasn't come back since. Nice to know there's a good chance its coming back
