Ran a Z06...

Ran a Z06... he wasn't S/C'd, but had something... exhausts were not stock. I pulled in 3rd and 4th gear - he was very surprised!!

Kinda feel good.... having some shitty luck lateley!

Wow, your car has serious balls if you can pull a Z06.

Stock they are 385hp (01) or 405hp (02-04) and only weigh 3100lbs. Not to mention Z06-only agressive transmission gearing.

I assume this was with your turbo car, what kind of #s is it putting down?

lol, I can see it now, you race again and he says "did you bump up the boost a little, and you say "nope, just changed the plugs"

Very impressive for a CL, traction must be terrible!

Do you have forged pistons, and what's your cr?

Congrats on a sweet setup, has it been reliable? What clutch are you using to hold up the power? And what's your wtq (or dyno graph for that matter) ?

Torque @ the wheels is 361 @ 5.2K RPMS. Peak horsepower is at 6250 RPM. I am using the stock clutch.

That leaves me to conclude that these cars have rather darn strong internals & clutches!

Nice Kill!

I'd feel too if I was you.

BTW . . . those V8s have more HP and TQ so I'm sure you really didn't win.
Sorry, just couldn't resist as someone is sure to say something like that.

Strong internals.. yes, strong clutch... no. I rarely shift hard with this car... hard-shifts especially 3-4 or 4-5 are not advised!
