Ran thru white paint
Ran thru white paint
Does anyone know how to get it off, it is all over my car? I was coming down a back road on my way home from class last night and came around a curve at 55 and went right into a huge puddle of white paint. Luckily the log truck in front of me was a good distance away so he didnt spray too much up on me but i need to get it off. Any help, it is up to the windows in some spots?
TIA Oh i swearved to avoid a retread awhile back and it knocked my side skirt loose, so thats why there is that gap

I wouldn't suggest clay on that. Too much and it will scratch the hell out of your car.
Go buy some PrepClean or Chronor. Go to your local auto parts store and tell then what happened. They sell strippers that are clearcoat safe and will take that stuff off no problem.
Make sure

Let me guess... they painted the lines on the road and you decided to drive on top of the line for a mile or 2....??...LOL
Goo Gone or body prep solvent is what I use... then wash, apply a brightner, wax and your all done..

No, i have to go by the spot again today so i'll try and snap a pic on the other side of the road. It is a huge white pond of paint. It looks like it fell off a truck or something. Luckily i just waxed the car 5 days ago so it seems to be coming off with some bug and sap remover. I was thinking of trying to clay it but was afraid it would just smear it around and scratch. It is going to take forever to get it off though. The whole wheel well and underside of the skirts are covered. Thanks for all the suggestions

The same thing happened to my wife when she had the 2002 TL. We never did get it off. It just has to wear off I guess. Luckily the car was white and the paint was white, but the jams and tires looked shitty. We've since got rid of the car. I hate those bastards that do that with the paint.
