took a bit longer but here are the pics

i took out the rear seats, rear seat and trunk sound detoning (sp?), trunk plastics and carpet, battery relocated to trunk (still need to make a bracket for it), radio delete, took out all speakers. when i go racing the pass seat, spare tire, and jack tools come out.
also just installed my benen rear tow hook, looks good.

fuel pump is easy. u see that silver circle by the batt. in my pics. that the cover. take that out, then u will see the fuel pump cover, u take that out and the whole unit comes out with it. not hard at all, no need to drop the tank. ppl say to use brass tools, i didnt have any and the three times ive changed pumps, i had no problems.just be cautious.

I drove my car completely striped to the drivers seat as well for a few days when I was doing my sound deadening. And even thou its just a clp it made a huge diference in throttle responce, braking.and overall feel. Your cls 6 with the 125shot must feel like a jet if you could get traction.Mine will spin tires if I spray the 65shot at 20mph. The only bad thing with the stripped car was how loud the exhaust resonated in to the cabin. Your cars sweet man

Yea I was just concerned about dropping the tank. On my old Civic I had the cover under the back seats, but you still needed to drop the tank

Yo Rajca! this is suppose to be a dedicated track car correct? get rid of the extra weight damnit!!!

Lose the heavy ass heated seats and put some nice bucket seats in, get rid of the air-con system too, that has to weigh a shit-ton!

haha

tow hook looks good

so when do you remove the stock gas tank and put in a long-range fuel cell??

It wasn't white. Its just not painted, primered but not painted. Any car will have that unless its a high end car. Its not a dedicatwd track car yet. I will replace the seats with 10lbs seats in a month or so.ac system will go when I go boost.

ive been thinking lately, since im delaying my turbo build. i want to see how much nitrous i can push on the stock block. if i were to do that, id get headers, delete cat, custom intake, go wet, stage 4 clutch, and emag blue for tune. what u guys think? do that, or save my money and buy the electronics i need for the turbo set up

If you have the money to replace the engine when you reach the limit then go for it.

Definitly push it.It would give me and the others knowledge where the limits are.I've seen jet setups for the dry zex that go to 175,but I'm not going to atempt it,unless I could get the Emanage blue set up in the BM I've been drooling over.
How much are you planning to try?

I think you're tranny will blow before you reach the limit of the motor.

on another note. CF engine cover would set your engine bay right off. But I guess it's not the smartest use of cash if you plan on building a whole new engine.

custom covers are a waste of time, money and they hurt performance. lose the covers. cooling is the name of the game. im looking into custom hood vents that dont look like ass.

as for your compression... i would do 9:1 thats enough for 400+lbs of boost. any lower and your car will be a slug and lag like fuck

Yet another set back. Got a ticket for doing 45mph over. Courts at the end of sept. So I will see how it goes. I won't be spraying the crap out of my engine. I will keep it at a 125 dry, get it tuned, new clutch.

I went to my first auto x yesterday. Had a blas. My car over powered the tires I had on their. suspension wasn't made for auto x. I will be installing some k-sports in 2 weeks, then if money allows I will be getting some falken azenis tires and some 15-16lb rims. I placed 4th out of the 7 hondas that came. Not bad for all season tires and my first time their.

S2k got first, had suspension and track tires. Time of 1:07
Civic got 2nd, was built stricly for auto x racing. Time of 1:10.1
Friends legend got 3rd, intake, headers, exhaust, pulley, gutted, leight weight enkies (sp?), ultra high performance tires, k sports set to stiff. And skill,
I got 4th, no spray all na. K&n drop in filter, pulley, cat back exhaust, gutted, im/tb spacers, tein basics, all season tires. Time of 1:13.4. I inproved from 1:16.7. Got 10 runs in. Car responded great.

On the way their we did some high way runs. And I pulled on him every time (no spray)

So now I'm addicted to auto x

Are you cutting the threads off to shorten it then re-threading it? What exactly are you doing to shorten it?

I've alread cut some threads off. Still to high. I can't cut any more threads off bc the shifter pole starts to bend a bit. So I will cut it after the bend and reweld it
