got my bumpers today. so tomorrow im gonna install them and then my painter is gonna wet sand and buff them. dont know if its the lighting or not, but them bumpers looks like their a brighter red then the car. we shall see tomorrow.
also rebuilt my turbo. took a few pics. this thing is sweet.
old turbine side shaft and wheel. a bit bunt and the threads at the end were broken off.
new shaft. only one shop/store had this, and ive searched for weeks and made numerous calls and sent tons of email out.

internals ready to be swapped

bumpers are on and the color match is great. my painter said that hes gonna wet sand and buff and wax the bumpers in a week or so bc the paint is still fresh. two more things i have to take car off and its off for inspection.

all i need to do is straighten out the exhaust b pipe and the y pipe (towing guy fucked it up) then still need to pass the inspection but the hood is holding me back bc on the recite it has to say that the body shop ordered it and not me. illinois inspections are a bitch.
the grill looks good the way it is but i want a shiny look to it

any car that has a salvage title need to get a safety inspection before it can have a rebuilt title and be street legal. if i bought the car somewhere else than IL. i can get the inspection done at Indiana with non of this bs that il does. i need to pass a safety inspection and then a police inspection.
it has 60050 + or + a few, i got it with 60035

yes to other person, plenty of serbians in chicago...
back on topic, so you'll be like the 4th or 5th CL to be turbocharged...im sure you've heard before how thinjim got up to 464whp, others over 360whp, so this is definitely well worth it!!
the red and cf theme is looking sick as well! im loving the documentation here, so i know there'll be plenty of dynographs, pics, and videos to come soon enough...good luck on everything.

Your car is looking great. I am really impressed at your progress to date. Once you drive it your really going to enjoy it allot more than you think.
Also that grille looks like it fits really well. Others who tried that grille had a big gap on the bottom, but it doesn't seem to be there in your pics. Nice!!!!
Like the other guys said good luck with inspections, going for mine soon too. But CT is a piece of cake, you should see the shit that people get away with out here...

thx guys. they paint is really really close to the rest of the car.
illinois emmision inspection is easy to pass. im talking about the safety and police inspection. only dealers and body shops do this inspections when the car has a salvaged title. when they pass they get a rebuilt title and they can sell or drive the car now. u need all the recites from what u bought. i have those but the hood is billed to me. it has to be billed to the body shop that bought the car. so now im trying to figure something out now.

minor up date. took some pics of the rear. my second nitrous bottle is on its way 
. the ppl at carbon innovation are the best. best customer support that ive dealt with so far. sent me a receipt with the body shops name. . so some time this week (maybe wed). im gonna go for one if not both of my inspections.
i put my spare tl-p muffler on for now. ill be doing something custom (axle back only) when the car passes the inspections. off too get it dynoed, and hitting the track this weekend maybe (might be really packed bc of memorial day weekend)
