Raised My Mufflers
A while back, I took my car into the dealer for some warranty work when I mentioned that I thought the mufflers were uneven. They changed the whole exhaust, but they still seemed to be uneven. Well, it has been discussed before that you can solve the problem easily by using a couple of hose clamps. I did this fix yesterday and here are the pics.
The clamps I used:

The before pic of my mufflers:

The after pic:

I raised my mufflers up a little higher so they tuck into the cutouts a bit better.
The tools I used:

I went to the dealer a week after having my new CL, and the SA told me that the factory had used the wrong brackets on the pipe - they replaced the wrong one with a "type 11" bracket as per the specs, and now my pipes are level

Sid,
Great solution!
Please be careful - check to make sure that the edge of your muffler towards the exhaust tip doesn't contact the vehicle's frame. If it's too close, the muffler will bang when you hit a bump.

Sid...Those won't help you... i had put them on my car to raise my exhaust, I was successful, however I had to change them like 5 times in the last 3 months..they keep breaking! I went out to the hardware store and bought a rubber hanger that looks like a small donut...similar to the rubber belts on vaccuum cleaners, only smaller... I have them on for about a month and they are perfect! I put them right behind the stock hangers, they 'aint goin' nowhere..If ya wanna see a pic, I'll take one...
