Rain X on side mirrors??
Rain X on side mirrors??
It's raining outside (Well it's 3rd time since I picked up my car end of May. Yeah, it's dry here.....)
I was thinking to apply Rain X on all windows and mirrors. But my boss (actually a friend of mine) stopped me for doing my side mirrors.
Our (03 CLS) mirrors are blue tinted, same as some European cars. One day my boss found out there are yellow/rust behind the side mirrors. He was X-rain'd his Mercedes S500 side mirror last night. He took it to the dealer and the service guy asked him what kind of chemical he put on the side mirrors. The chemical actually reacted with the blue tint element. The damaged is not covered by warranty.
Did anybody do it safely without problem??
Thanks!
