I just replaced the battery on my radio and now it ask for a code. hopefully ya'll guys can help or maybe there is someone in this forums that has acces to the codes. tried the dealer but they want me to come in and charge like $95

turn off ur car.
turn on ur car with the brake down.
make sure ur radio is off,

hold down numbers 1 & 6. then turn it on..

it should flash a bunch ofnumbers... like i think either 8 or 12.... writ them down and go to ur nearest acura dealership andthey wil give u ur code.. orrrr check ur little booklet that acura hsoulda given u with the manual and stuff and there should be a credit card looking thing with the code on thereinwhite.

 

i had the same problem and i went to the dealer and they guy showed me it was on a stick both the radio and navi code was under the cap of the fuse box under the hood but this was for a 2003 tl-s not sure if its the same with a 99 worth a try though

 

its in many locations. Look in the leather case that your manual is in for a white card with the code written on it. If not there look on the side of the glove box or like stated above under the fuse panel cover under the hood. If that doesnt work try the method above (on the TL that only worked on the 02-03 models)

If that doesnt work, take the serial # from the radio to the dealer and they should be able to look it up by that #
