Imo, I think the lettering on the wheel makes it look cheap. Too many knockoffs of that wheel as well.

I like the wheels myself, but they are a little heavy. I was considering getting them for my Accord but I went to check them out and could barely lift them! Beware of weight...

you must be weak if you can barely pick up a wheel

i agree, too many knockoffs. they are a bit heavy though, as stated...i think most of the rh evo lineup weigh about 20-21lbs per wheel. performance should be about the same as stock if you're going for an 18" wheel. 19" will hurt performance (but obviously looks better). on the positive note, rh evo is not expensive at all, decent if not good looks, and exceptional build quality (very popular brand among the import tuner crowd, probably the most popular...and i haven't heard of a single complaint).

I love my C5 Evo's.. I know I'm bias cause I own them..

But, my 19's are actually a little lighter than my stock silver 17's. So I don't think it hurt the performance at all. Although I must agree that there is way to many knock-offs of them.. (Concept 5)..

Damn, I wish they still make the regular C5's.. I use to have a set in 17's on my 4 lug integ.. I really missed it..

I personally like the C5's... not as much since their evolution to the EVO line. The spoke lines are a little too sharp and boxy. They're a good look, but are starting to get a little tired. Too many people are running them.

The M5's are hella tight! Certainly pricier, but look soooo nice gotta pay if you wanna play right?

Ever consider the Ro-Ja line?

I love the polished lip

I'm going with the gunmetal finish against my nighthawk black

I love those wheels! I saw them a few months ago at a performance shop. I think they're like $400 a wheel though. You gotta post pics when you put those on you car.

I found a hella good deal on some 18's with tires ~$1400.00 somewhere out in florida.

But the price on the 19's are a grip... $2800+shipping

They're supposedly pretty lt weight, and I am jocking that phat lip.
I wish I had the funding to get these now, but I'm gonna wait until I run the tread on my stocks down slightly more before I can get these. I'll def post some pix as soon as that occurs.

***off to do some canyon carving and burnouts to promote premature tread wear***

a 19" wheel with a 35 series tire is only 0.01% bigger (about 0.3inches) compared to the stock 17" Type-S wheel.

Stock Type S wheel and tire = 25.5inches diameter
19" wheel and tire = 25.2inches diameter

dont see how that will hurt your performance

i just checked and a 235/35/19 tire is exactly the same size as stock. dont know why people think that 19's will hurt performance compared to stock. the only factor is weight but you can find 19's that are lighter than stocks.

I think the primary concern with running 19's vs 18's is the increased rotational inertia or something technical in that sense. *i'm not the physicist here*... I'm sure that the overall weight and size would be comporable with a 235/35/19 vs the stocks. but I would assume that the weight distribution of the 19's (heavier on the outer circumfrence due to the larger wheel diameter) would result in a slight reduction in brake performance and acceleration. Hope that makes sense to someone cuz my brain hurts now

good point, however i was referring to performance due to [extra] weight, not the handling aspect. (i don't think i mentioned tires or handling in my post). i don't know the exact calculations (they're somewhere on this site, probably in the extremely useful topics forum), but i'm sure that a 20-21lb 18" wheel will result in the same acceleration performance as the stock 25lb 17"s. i know for sure that a 19" version of a wheel will weigh more than the 18" version. most 19" rh evo wheels weigh 23-25lbs, resulting in slower acceleration, but most likely better handling (bigger wheel size=better handling, unless they're dubs).
