i have a 97 2.2 cl.....no mods.....except rims and parada spec 2s....i was on my way back from visiting a friend and i had two of my homies with me and some guy turns into the lane next to me while we're on the high way and he starts lookin' over at me and yellin shit....so i was like, ok let see how fast your shitty little car will go.....we were already doin 80-90 before we started so when we did we hit 100 pretty quick....to make a long story short, he was eating dust cause I hit 140 and he couldn't or didn't want to keep up.....Needless to say, I had fun.....lol.....

 

How did u hit 140?.. i also have a 2.2 with exhaust and i only hit 125 and that was struggling.. i prob could go mor, but not much.....not sayin u didnt but just wondering >

 

i floored it for a good stretch of time....i really don't know how i got goin that fast to tell you the truth, it suprised the shit out of me....but 2 of my homies were with me yellin' at me to slow down...floor the shit out of your car on a long ass straight away on the high way without a lot of traffic....the first time i hit my car over 100 was 110.....that was cool, then 2 weeks ago i hit 120 at lke 9am on a sunday after dropping off my homey at his house.....then when i was on my way up to visit my home girl i hit up 130 and i was content with that.....but on the way back some stupid ass kid wanted to race, so i hit up 140....my speedometer isn't fucked up either, cause i just had my car looked at by the Acura dealership....try seein how fast you can go.....

 

How long was the road....it musta been awful long....

Where were the cops?? Geez you're brave, with the miles and miles of road it would take a stock Honda 4 cyl to go 140 mph (read: whatever), you must not worry about tickets.

Please save face and tell us you're embellishing before the BS patrol comes and gets you...

The road was long but it only took me about 10 seconds after i was at about 80-90.....The reason I did it, and didn't care was because I have a radar and I'm not trippen about cops, cause there weren't any places for them to hide in traffic cause there wasn't all that much.....But I'm not BSing about 140....It might seem like it, but I could always do it again and take a picture of the spedometer for you

 

I have a hard time with that speed with that short a distance with so little hp...I dunno, call me crazy
