me and my friend were going back to his house and he didn't wanna race cuz he just got his license, so we're on this 2 lane road and he had his gf in his car and i had his gf's friend in the car, and we were at about 60 and we both just look at each and pinned it...up until about 95 i just kept pulling, probably about 1.5-2 car lengths...the best part is that once i started pulling away i looked over at him and waved to be even more of an asshole. I still gotta race him from a stop though. I think he'll get me to about 55-60 then i'll pull on him again.

 

i know a guy that has a fox body 5.0 all he has is exhaust and he runs 14.5 on street tires even with 189,000 miles with the original motor stock everything!
i would like to find out what would happen if u raced him from a dead stop could be pretty interesting

same thing happened at the track, i raced a 89 lx 5.0 wiht the same setup and he got me from 0-60 then i just pulled right past him, he ran a 14.6 i ran a 14.4

 

you can get him from stop or roll. i've done it. and it ain't hard.

 

I shoulda got another 99+ instead of the 5.slow I picked up...geez, now I gotta spend a bunch of money to keep up with a 6 banger????
