Me and my friend took our cars out for a little run. He has a '90' 300zx n/a with the manual tranny. He has exhaust and some intake which probably puts his car at about 250 HP. pretty evenly matched wit mine. It had snowed a few days before and it was all cleared away but there were still some salty spots. we have been wantin to race for awhile tho so we decided to do it. Not the best conditions but just for the hell of it. He got a SUPER launch. I didn't even bother puttin on the SS. but i also forgot to turn the VSA off. stayed close but he beat me by about a car length. We decided to race when the wheather is alot better, and i won't forget to throw it in SS and i will turn off the VSA. i am looking forward to it and i will post next time we race which will be ina month or so. just bored and thought i would share my story.

The race was no more then a 1/4 mile. Not even that, probably about 1 1/2 to 2 blocks. It wasn't to serious cause we knew the conditions weren't good. But we have been wanting to do it and we had some time on our hands, so we did. I guess just to get an idea of what would happen. He got a GREAT launch though, the best i have ever seen him have. He doesn't get one like that everytime. So we will see what happens next time. I'll keep you guys posted if your interested. It's an evenly matched race pretty much. I live in Philadelphia, so we still have threats of snow, cold weather, etc.... Around April we plan on racing again.
