Quick Wheel Question...
Well my highschool graduation is approacing fast (16days) and i'm going to be geting some money.....i want to buy a set of wheels but i'm having trouble with offsets and such....i was wondering if there was any possible way such as spacers etc to increase the offset of a wheel from like a 35 of 38 to what we need which i think is a 45 or higher also could some one please explain what all the numbers mean when tires are described...
thanks Tom

Ok here's my understanding of the offset question.
If the offset on rim u want is +35 and the ideal offset for your car is +45 (and higher), won't a spacer make the problem worse?
If the offset is lower- then that means that the wheel will stick out more. So the +35 wheel will probably scrape alittle (and more if u lower u're car).
So instead of a spacer(which will add more space between the wheel and the rotor, Right?). You would have to go in the other direction and have some of the rim shaved off- which may lower the strength of that rim.
So should find rims with the correct offset.
If i'm wrong please correct me
