quick sway question...

got em installed finally... night a freaking day difference in terms of body roll and handling... i CANNOT believe i waited 3 years to get sways...

anyway... i bought em used. my buddy who sold them to me put em on...

whenever i go over larger bumps in the road i hear a loose clank coming from the front, kinda under the passengers foot well....

whats up w that? what could it be? what should i do? should i be worried?

thanks

Maybe double check your end link bolt tighness for the front passenger side? There's specs around for the torque to use on each of the bolts.

I had the same problem with my sways. The problem is that you have some slop from the original sways. Once you throw in a bar that is stiffer, it wiggles itself loose. Check the torque on the ball link bolts (indented hex) for the control arms first, then check the torque on the bolts for the sway bar connect. The same thing happend to me where the bolt (or hole if you will) in the control arm already has slop from the OEM bars, and if you throw in a stiffer bar, your off torque will be less.

Sorry if this is confusing. Bottom line, check the torque for 28 ft-lbf.
