Questions for those with SS brake lines

I got my SS brake lines in yesterday, & used the Castrol LMA DOT 4 fluid Jens recommended. The pedal feel is very stiff. I have to press hard on the pedal. Is this how it's supposed to feel? Or is it more of a bleeding issue? Will the pedal loosen up a little over time? I can brake with no problem.

Thanks

Did you purge the system off all the other fluid or just add the LMA?

The whole system was bled, I can stop with out a problem, no noise, no sloppy pedal etc. The only thing that's different is I have to press the pedal harder to get the car to stop. Is that normal for SS lines?

I guess I just needed to drive a little the pedal is looser now, still firm, but that what I wanted.
