Question for Wayneg

I have an '02 TL-S and am very interested in modifications.

Can you compare your modded TL-S with a stock TL-S in terms of power, off-the-line and cruising?

Thanks

Pete

TLSWhiz- since both our TLS have only about 250 miles on them, we haven't done a full out g force test (yet). I can tell you this- everyone who drives both can definately tell the difference. The car is great without the mods, but with them midrange pull is stronger, squat and dive is much less and cornering is tighter, the sound is outstanding and it gets attention wherverer it goes!

Hey man, thanks for the reply,

Does acura cover the COmptech parts -- a buddy of mine had much Comptech work done to his Integra Type R and he said Acura installed and covered the parts. Is that true for you and your parts? Plus -- can you speculate for me, I LOVE stats on the modded CL-S and TL-S cars -- Motortrend is saying the 0/60 time for the TL-S is 6.28 seconds -- so ... does that mean yours is sub-6, maybe 5.5?

Thanks again!

Comptech covers the parts, we cover the labor. Comptech and Acura/Honda work together on many parts and comptech supplies many of the competition parts for the Acura/Honda race vehicles. Acura doesn't cover comptech parts but Comptech does. I have never seen an instance where a Comptech part has caused a problem on an Acura.

As far as the times on my TL-S, we'll have to get her broke in first
