Question about the two tubes when installing AEM CAI bypass valve
Anyway, I was putting the bypass valve into my AEM CAI the other day. I cut the upper portion and install the valve horizontally along with the throttle body axis. When I close the hood, it presses onto the valve a little bit, but it is ok.
My question is that when I disconnect the two tubes on the Y connector (one tube connects to the CAI, another one connects to the throttle body), as I was loosening the one from the throttle body, I see that there is a lot of coolant water squirting out (maybe because I didn't cool my car down before installation?). Just want to make sure that that tube actually does contain coolant?
Thanks a lot!
