My friend has an 01 Cl-S, and when he is in neutral and revs it, it stops revving at 5000 rpm. I have a 03 Cl-S and mine stops revving at 5800 rpm. Do the 01 and 02 Cl-S have a rev limit before the 03 Cl-S, or does his car just have a problem.

 

I have a 01 and tt seems to only hit that 5k limiter when the car is parked or in neutral.

 

My 02 only goes to 5000 also, maybe they raised the limit for 03.
