is there a way to run an aftermarket navi but keep the factory head unit???

 

Depends on if you use the voice prompt on the navi. Our stock headunits cut the power on the music whenever there is a voice prompt from the navi and I would assume someone might be able to find a way to do the same on an aftermarket system.
