I got new floor mats for my 01 CLS. Now the mats from my local dealer and the mats just say 3.2Cl. DO THEY MAKE A MAT THAT SAYS CL TYPE S? I am wondering if they make mats that say type S on them can anyone help me out. Cause the guys at the dealers are morons and cant figure anything out.

I would go to a customazation shop and get some custom made, Acura should make accessories for Type-S like BMW does M-Series

 

I don't think Acura ever made mats that say Type S. The 01-02 mats were different than the 03. The 03 said 3.2 CLS, I think the 01-02 just said Acura. could be wrong.

My parchment mats just say "3.2 CL"... Just checked... they are in a box under my bed 'cause I got the all weather mats about a month after I got my 03...

 

I am sure the cut out is different but in my friends RSX Type S he has a metal plate attached to the front mats that shows type S, I think it shows RSX also

 

Do a search for door sills, can't remember the place, automotivedesigns?, it's the most common sill on the G2 CL forums.

 

I have a set that say ACURA and i have a set that say 3.2 CL. Im pretty sure those are the only two sets that they make. I have never seen Type S Mats. They would be pretty money though if they made them.
